The village is about 3500 people. I would involve the kids from both primary and secondary school (kids from 6 to 13), but I would also ask schools from a couple of nearby villages to participate, so that I could reach more kids. Probably I would divide the day into morning (for primary school) and afternoon (secondary) and I would have different scientists talking about their experience as scientists and answer all the questions form students, a little bit like I am doing with you now. Me and another guy are the only people from my village that have ever got into science, so I would like to get more kids passionate about science

because doing research is extremely expensive, so with 500£ I could do just a couple of experiment :( apart from not being allowed to spend money on research or personal purposes (the deal is that is spent on science communication), talking about science to kids could be considered as an investment, where more kids could decide to go into science!
