My favourite part of being a scientist is finding out something that no one else previously knew. It is then, of course, important to tell the rest of the world about that finding through scientific papers and conference talks. And the conference talks gives you a great opportunity to do some traveling! For example, this summer I’m off to San Diego and Utah for two conferences, where I am giving two talks.

Uh, I thought it was an easy question, but actually it isn’t!
I love lots of parts, but maybe my favourite is the fact that you are constantly stretching your problem-solving skills.
