Congratulations Joanna! You’ve put so much effort into the competition, whether it be chatting in the back of a taxi on in the loo queue at Glastonbury, you’ve been brilliant!

Leo – Harry Potter lookalike and friend of the llamas! You’ve amazed and amused us with your answers throughout the competition, thanks for being such an excellent contestant, sadly there could only be one winner.

Well done Joe you are an extreamly diserving winner, even thoug the main answer you gave to questions was “Sorry I dont know, but very interesting”.
I gues honesty is the best policy, thats one of the main reasons I voted for you half the time! XD But Im glad you won and just know you will put the money and experience to good use! 🙂

  16. barney says:

Oh and leo sorry you duidnt win, it was so hard to chose between the two of you but I guess Joe came up trumps. Now you have to ride your lama home, but you can do it with your head heald high, you are the second faverout scientist related to cancer on here!

Thank you sooooo much everyone. It’s been an amazing experience and I think I’ve learnt more from all of you (students and other scientists) than anyone has from me!

I’m totally stunned that I won, Iain, Mariam, Gioia and Leo are all fantastic!!! It’s been a real pleasure to get to know them.

I think I need a few weeks to get some of my normal work done and then I can get cracking on the lesson packs.

    😀
