Question: At what level should you be aiming for, if you are a year 8 wanting to do a science A level? Is it in the 7's, below or above?

  I’m not sure what you mean. I don’t know very much about school grades any more, they have changed a lot since I was at school – what are 7s? I’m sure your science teacher or careers officer will know.

  I’m afraid the systems have changed since I was at school, so I don’t know. I’m sure your teachers could tell you though, if you ask them about it.
