0 Question: Can a tumour be found all over the body? Asked by frank123rous to Iain, Jo, Leo on 24 Jun 2010 in Categories: Your Research.
Leo Garcia answered on 24 Jun 2010:
Animals can get tumours almost anywhere in the body – so long as there are cells there which are dividing. There are certain places where it is extremely rare to develop tumours – such as teeth, cartilage and adrenal gland.
Joanna Watson answered on 24 Jun 2010:
Yes. Any parts of you body that are ‘alive’ (so not hair etc) can grow a tumour.
