• Question: Can you cure alopecia?

      I don’t think so. There are treatments, but I don’t think they cure it and they don’t always work

      As far as I know there is no cure for alopecia, but I recently read that Gail Porter, a tv journalist whom lost all her hair to alopecia years ago, has her hair growing again! So I guess you have to keep being positive that they could grow back.

      A good friend of mine had alopecia, and the doctors gave her steroids – this works for some people. But it didn’t work for Laura, so she even tried acupuncture, but that didn’t do her any good either. After a couple of years though, her hair just started growing back naturally!
