• Question: Do you ever get the chance to go abroad or away with work?

      That’s one of the nicest, but most stressful thing to do! You do have lots of occasions to go to meetings u abroad, but usually you are allowed to go only if you present your data, that means that you’ll be very stressed for most of the meeting and you’ll forget to go and visit the place!
      Thanks to international meetings, I have been in Chicago, Washington, Hungary, France…Next one will be in Milan in October

      Hi corner1.

      I haven’t been away for work recently, but a couple of years ago I worked on a project with scientists from all over the European Union, and often had to travel to Italy or France to work with them.

      I’ve also been to lots of conferences around the UK (Birmingham, Leeds, Newcastle etc.) and a few years ago I even got to go to a conference in Thailand.

      Yes, I quite often get to go away to meetings and conferences. The week after next I’m going to Denmark, and in September I’m going to Portugal.
