      Just occasionally! Sometimes I get jealous of some of my friends who get paid much more money for their jobs, or who have much more free time because they don’t have to work so hard. But then I realise that I wouldn’t actually want their jobs – I love mine.

      Sometimes when I see my friends who get paid more than me, or have different jobs that seem exciting I wonder whether I made the right decision. Then I really think about their jobs and realise that I wouldn’t be happy doing them and that I did make the right decision after all.

      No – even though some days are frustrating or not very interesting. The benefits of the job far outweigh any of the negative things! Being a scientist is something to be extremely proud of, and it is a very worthwhile career.

      I wish that science could give me a more stable position at work instead of having to change every few years, but I have never regretted becoming a scientist
