      Hi toms1.

      I didn’t know any of the other scientists before we started doing ‘I’m a Scientist’, but they all seem nice.

      I think that I would probably vote for Mariam, because understanding about exactly why cells die is really important – not just for cancer, but for lots of other diseases too.

      I admit I have looked at the profiles of all the other scientists and they are all so cool I feel a bit intimidated by them! My favourite though is Iain and it’s not for the beard! He seems really good at explaining things in a simple way.
      Anyway, don’t forget to give me a chance, because I may have something interesting to say as well.

      I don’t know any of the other scientists in this competition. I think YOU should vote for whoever gives the best, most interesting answers to your science questions!

      I haven’t met any of them, but they all seem really cool. I don’t know who I would vote for, maybe Leo. It would be a difficult decision.

      I’ve never met any of the other scientists, but I’ve seen a video of Leo giving a talk in a school (he was excellent).

      I would vote for Iain. No, Jo. Wait, Gioia. Perhaps Leo.

      I don’t know.
