• Question: /have you ever been afraid of getting Cancer yourself?

      I’ve never been afraid of getting cancer. I just hope that if I did get cancer I would know enough about the symptoms to go to the doctor early while there was still a chance of a good treatment.

      Yes, a bit. But I don’t worry about it too much, because I don’t want to spend my whole life worrying about things!

      Yes – I think that everyone would prefer not to get it. However, because it is so common, I would hope that I am prepared to get it (or for a loved one to get it) at some point, and to realise that it is just one of those things which comes with being alive.

      Yes, which is the main reason I quit smoking.
