• Question: Hi, what would you say the best energy resource is that is eco-friendly?

      That’s a difficult question because all the different renewable energy sources have advantages and disadvantages. I think that to get all the electricity that we need, we’re going to have to use lots of different technologies to capture energy from the sun, the wind, the waves and the heat under the ground.

      Solar, wind and hydroelectric power are all good, but none of them are enough to provide the world with all our energy needs. Nuclear energy is an alternative that can provide a lot of power, and doesn’t emit much carbon dioxide so in that sense it’s eco-friendly. But it has its own problems… disposing of the nuclear waste afterwards, and the potentially devastating consequences of an accident or terrorist threat. But personally I think that nuclear power is something that we should consider using more.
