      That’s a really good question Helen.
      It depends a lot on what type of cancer it is and how early it is diagnosed. It also depends on how healthy the person was before they got cancer. We don’t know all the reasons that some people survive and some don’t, and there are researchers still studying it.

      It depends on many things, including how advanced the cancer was when it was diagnosed, what type of cancer it is, and the general health of the person (apart from the cancer, I mean).
