• Question: If you could save the rainforest or the coral reef which would you choose? More people and animals would get to see the rainforest, but is that why it was made, for us to enjoy? --Joanna xxxx

      I don’t like this question! I don’t know which I would choose. Possibly the rainforest.

      Hmm, I think I would save the rainforest, because it’s very important for the ecology of our planet (trees “soak up” carbon dioxide) and because there are so many species of animals and plants living there, many of which we know nothing about and/or haven’t even discovered yet. But my answer isn’t really fair, because I don’t know much about coral reefs and their importance… if I knew more perhaps I would decide that it was more important to save coral reefs.

      The best thing would be for the human race to behave more responsibly and stop destroying both.
