• Question: is god real?

      Whilst religion plays an important role in most people’s lives, and provides comfort and support to people at hard times in their lives, in my opinion the concept of god, and religion in general, is man made.

      This is the scientific, sceptical view point – to not believe in anything until it can be proven with strong scientific evidence. Because this has not happened with any god(s) yet, the sceptic must maintain that it is very unlikely that that the existence of god(s) is true. The logical conclusion from this is that god (and the supernatural in general) is a concept made up by humans, and exists only in their imaginations.

    I’m also not sure either because I have been brought up a Catholic and have been tought about God and everything but the only source of information that God exists is the bible, what has been re written many times since the very first copy so people might of easily changed it.
