If you were too healthy that it made you unhealthy, then you wouldn’t be healthy!!!!

I don’t think it’s really possible to be too healthy, but personally I like to have a balance in my life – I try to live quite healthily, but it’s important to me to enjoy my life as well, so sometimes I eat fatty foods or drink alcohol or do other unhealthy things!

I don’t think so. It is possible to attempt to be so healthy that you become unhealthy as a consequence. For example, because too many carbohydrates can lead to people being fat, some people go to the other extereme and cut out all carbs. As another example, it might be possible to exercise too much and wear yourself out. All in all, it is good to have a balanced diet and do plenty of exercise. No need to go over the top.

All things that we do must be done in moderation, and this includes ‘healthy’ activities like exercise and eating ‘diet-y’ type food. A full, balanced diet which includes things often considered ‘bad’ for us is fine, so long as those ‘bad’ things (like chocolate bars and crisps… mmmm) are eaten irregularly and in moderation. Same with exercise – allowing your body to rest and heal after strenuous exercise is vital.

But I suppose that, by definition, healthy means all of the above, so I don’t suppose it IS possible to be too healthy. The real issue is not over doing any particular aspect of being healthy.

It’s not possible to be too healthy in the sense that it won’t do you any physical harm – you might end up boring and with no friends if being healthy is all you care about though.

It is possible to go too far with trying to do what are thought of as ‘healthy behavours’. For example it is healthy to do exercise, but if you do WAY too much exercise it can be harmful and cause all kinds of damage to your body.
