Question: Is there any way to reverse cell division of the cancer? and if so what are the risks?

I don’t think there are any ways to make cells join back together again, but there are ways to make the new cells die. Mariam is an expert on cell death, so I’m looking forward to reading her answer.

No, unfortunately there’s no way to reverse cell division. All we can do is kill cancer cells, or stop them from dividing more. Good question though!

That’s OK. Maybe I know more about these things than I think I do 🙂 I feel like I’m turning into a bit of a Mariam groupie, but apoptosis was one of the things in my degree that I found really fascinating!
