I suppose it is quite complicated, and I have to spend a lot of time thinking about the best experiments to do to answer the questions I want to ask. But after doing a degree in science and then a PhD I’ve learned loads about how to do the things I need to do, so it doesn’t feel all that complicated most of the time!

My job can be quite complicated, but I have spent a long time learning how to do it and there are always people around that can help me.

The most complicated thing about my job is keeping lots of different kinds of information in my head in case I need them! However, this is something that everyone can do as long as they are well organised and enjoy what they are doing.

Every week I meet up with my supervisor who chats to me about my work and helps me decide where to go next. This helps me keep on top of things and stops them ever getting too complicated!

I also think that different things are complicated for different people, if you see what I mean. For example, I think baking a cake or fixing a car or doing DIY is complicated but lots of people find those things really simple.
