Question: Maybe you could use the £500 too raise more money which could then be used for the mini conference you want. Also instead you could use the money to put towards the research side of things, to help with your work?

  That’s a really good idea – but an even better idea might be to spend the £500 pounds on the lesson packs and then try to raise the money for the mini conference too?
  
  I’m really enjoying doing I’m a Scientist so far, so it would be great if I won and got to do more things like this!
  
  We’re not allowed to spend the prize money on our research, it has to be used for publicising or communicating our research.
  
  What do you think would be the best thing to spend the prize money on?

I really like your idea for using the money for lesson packs aswell as raising money for the mini conference, That way it would benefit a large number of people rather than a limited amount of people.;)
