  I am afraid of spiders, heights and wasps. All of which, I think, are excused by being rational things to be afraid of. After all, a spider could bite you, could fall of a cliff, and wasps… Well, wasps aren’t nice are they? I like those people who are afraid of things like balloons and toast – I wonder what misfiring in the brain causes people to be terrified of inanimate, harmless objects?

  I’m afraid of heights, so I find being at the top of tall buildings really scary – especially when they have big windows or outside bits. My friends laugh at me because when we go skiing I close my eyes and grip on really tight on the ski lifts 🙂

  It makes sense to be scared of spiders, because although we don’t have any dangerous spiders in England, it would have been important for our ancestors to avoid poisonous spiders that might have bitten them. But it makes absolutely no sense for me to be scared of worms, they’re completely harmless!

  I’m not so great with heights, but apart from that I don’t fear much, apart from pain – or getting voted off!! I love spiders and snakes.
