• Question: What condition do you keep the animals in?

      I don’t work on animals, but some of the other resesarchers here work on flies, worms, fish and mice. There are very strict rules to make sure that they are kept as well as possible and that none of them suffer unnecisserily.

      Hi sportygirl16. I don’t use any animals in my research – except humans, and they just live in their normal houses 😉

      I keep the flies in clear plastic tubes with food at the bottom. I’ll try to put a picture on my profile page on Monday so you can see what it looks like. Once a week I change them into a fresh tube of food, so that they don’t get too overcrowded and don’t run out of food.
