• Question: What is stronger than spider-web silk?

      I believe that Kevlar is stronger than spider-web silk. It is not only stronger, but is capable of withstanding much greater strains than spider silk.

      Spider silk does have a greater tensile (pulling) strength than high grade steel though.

      Don’t tell SpiderMan though, as he will be kicking himself that he isn’t “Kevlar-Man”. Doesn’t have the same ring, though, does it?
