      I don’t really have a daily routine – my schedule changes a lot from day to day depending on what I’m doing. Most days start off with checking on my flies, which usually takes at least an hour. After that, it’s very variable, but always busy!

      I don’t really like routine very much and I chose my job so that I didn’t have to have one. Every day is a bit different.

      Go straight in to work, then make a coffee and check my mail. I’ll then do some work, perhaps analysing some data or writing a paper or making a poster for a conference. Then lunch, and another coffee. Then carry on my work, maybe read a paper and find some of the latest papers in my field, then home! To be honest I don’t have a daily routine, because each day is different.

      I wake up, have breakfast and get the train into work. At work, I will do some programming, read some scientific papers, analyse some data or talk with other people in the lab about our results, and how we should move forward in our research.
