      Without enormous amounts of what is known as ‘terraforming’ (which means preparing it for human habitation), as far as we know the only planet only which humans can live is Earth!

      In terms of planets we could live on, given terraforming, then it would have to be a rocky body, like Mars or the Moon. We couldn’t live on a gassy planet like Jupiter, although there are a number of reasons why living on Jupiter would be a bad idea, including the enormous gravitational forces.

      As far as we know, earth in the only planet in the universe to hold life. However, within our solar system, we suspect that there are places where life may have once (or may in the future) hold life – Mars, Europa and Titan. Although, we have no direct evidence that this is true:
