Question: What sort of equipment would you buy to use in schools and what hands on stuff would you get the kids to do?

  I still haven’t decided completely – I’ll think about it properly if I win the money, for now I’m too busy answering questions!
  But I would like to buy equipment to get students to do some sort of experiment that’s fun but also informative. It would have to be relatively easy to do and safe. I was talking to a friend about it the other day and she suggested extracting DNA from strawberries. I think it would be cool for students to get to see DNA, what do you think?
