Question: what would you prefer a billion billion million pounds or a cure for cancer

I would prefer a cure for cancer. I don’t even know what I’d do with a billion billion million pounds – make sure that everyone in the world has food and clean water maybe?
It would be really great if I could have a cure for cancer and enough money to buy a little house with a garden and a newer car though.

I’m not sure. Which would be better? A cure for cancer or the money. It would depend on what I could do with a billion billion million pounds. That much money is a lot more that the whole worlds gross product (about $50 trillion). With that sort of money, I could eliminate povery throughout the entire world and help the billions of people who don’t have enough food, and help them have a sustainable life worth living. That, for me, would do the world more good than finding a cure for cancer, so I will take the money.

what would be the point of having a billion billion million pounds if still my friends, my family and all the people that I love could still die of cancer? I would much prefer to know that I could spare such a terrible disease to everybody instead of sitting on a pile of money that I wouldn’t even know how to spend…unless I could invest it in research!!!
