      Because I thought it would have been fun talking to science to kids and hoping that some of them would be convinced to become the next generation of scientist! And also because most of the times we talk about science only among scientists and I want to see what other people (especially kids) think of science and of scientists.

      I’m taking part, because I think it’s really important that people who don’t work as scientists (including school students) understand what we do in our labs and offices.

      If everyone knew just a little bit more about science and how science works (especially politicians and business people – but everyone else too) the world would be a much better place.

      I’m taking part in it because I think it’s a brilliant idea – hopefully it’s giving you guys a better idea of what it’s like to be a scientist, and maybe you’ll see that we’re not all stereotypical mad scientists with thick glasses and crazy hair. If this inspires even one of you to consider a career in science, then it’s worthwhile.
