I would really like to go to schools to talk about my research if the teachers and students wanted me to.

Of course. I volunteer with a charity called STEMNET, who arrange scientists to come into schools and do interactive workshops and talks about their research. If your school is near North London, I’d be happy to come in and talk to you.

That would be a great experience!
In July I’m going to give a lecture about cancer to summer students in Cambridge and that would be my first experience for me talking to students. I’m a bit nervous, but already participating to I’m a scientist helped me understanding what are the things that you are curious about and help me to plan the lecture.
