• Question: would you rather go on a science school trip with 100 school children to teach them, or discover a brand new invention, that no one else has every discovered?

      Well, as long as the invention was actually useful, and improved lots of people’s lives – then I’ll have to say that. Also, it depends on where I was going on the trip, and whether or not I was staying in some kind of amazing 5 star hotel!

      It depends what the invention is. If it was a rubbish invention then I’d rather go on the school trip – but if it was an invention that would prevent cancer or malaria then I’d choose the invention.

      Hmm, I think the honest answer is that I’d rather make an important discovery or invent something useful – that has the potential to help even more than 100 school children!

      It would depend on the invention. If it was a life-saving invention, then I’d go for that. If it was a stupid invention, like a solar-powered torch or a bannana straightener, then I’d probably go on the school trip.

      Tough question! I’m not sure I would be good enough to keep 100 children entertained on my own…so I think it would be “easier” to discover something new!
