Sure. Its probably not for everyone, but if science interests you, or you want to help the sick or the environment, then go for it. It is bound to stimulate your mind.
If you enjoy science, then yes, I would reccomend being scientist. We all have to spend *a lot* of time at work, so I think the most important thing is to try to find a job doing something you enjoy!
There are lots of different types of scientists (even just the ones in this zone) – so if there is one bit of science that you don’t like, don’t let that put you off, because there are loads of other types of science out there.
I don’t if you just want a job that is from 9 to 5 and that earns you a lot of money! But if you are passionate about science and at the idea that you could discover something that could have an impact on others’ lives, even if you don’t have a stable job and you don’t earn a lot, then go for it!
Yes, I would – I love my job. It’s interesting and varied, and I feel like I’m at least trying to work towards making the world a slightly better place.
Certainly – if you enjoy finding things out, and helping further mankind’s understanding of the world us (and maybe saving some lives in the process!), then science is a great career!
Yes 07smcnaughton, there are lots of types of science that involve land. There is the science behind agriculture and how to make things grow well and there is environmental science. What do you study in your land diploma? And most importantly, do you enjoy it?
