• Question: You say you are using viruses to kill cancer but surely in doing this you will probably kill other organisms in the process. What sort of dangers does this cause to your research?

      Viruses are species-specific, so if we are using human adenoviruses, they could only replicate in human cells. So far, all the oncolytic virus that have been tested in clinical trials in human have all proven safe, with mild side effect, like temperature. What we really need to make sure is that the oncolytic virus has been manipulated enough to not be able anymore to replicate in normal cells
